Thanks OP, bought this for the second car where its just short trips, for the longer trips or the main family car, I recommend the ones with compartments to store all of the kids things.

I don't have kids so I'm just curious, how hard is it to teach kids not to kick?

not that hard to teach a kid not to kick, however in a back seat, pretty much as hard as trying to find cheap gas at the moment.

As an adult, go sit on a ledge where your feet dangle and don’t touch the ground. See if you rock your legs back and forth. Then picture a child sitting in the back seat.

Now that you mention it, I remember going to a bar that had a table and stools that clearly didn't match. My feet were dangling and it was uncomfortable as hell.

Not all kids learn the same way as one would figure/hope. Let's say I know someone who has kids that are quite oblivious and it's not because of lack of trying by the parents for years. So preventive measures would/should definitely be called for.

Isn't it cheaper just to threaten to cut off your kids feet if they kick your seat again? Just saying. Oh the 70's were a good time. LOL

My kids don't kick the seats but with getting in and out of the car, snow melting on their boots while you're driving, etc my Brica covers have salt and dirt stains on them. The seat itself doesn't.

(That's my endorsement; they're awesome and at $5/each, a no brainer).

I have two kids. It IS hard to teach them not to kick. I had to remind them hundreds of times, kindly and angrily. It is hard, parenting is hard, doesn't mean we should avoid it. ;) This generation always try to go around and "solve the problems", ending up raising brats.
