Well, let's keep in mind that last year the $CDN dollar was nearly at par with the $US... Don't expect prices for imported goods to remain at the same level as last year for too long.. $999 does look like a normal price for these items (from the pre-$CDN-par days)... We got used to the lower prices for the last few years. It will be hard to accept the 20+% increase we will start seeing on many items :(
