Budds Cadillac FWD XT5 Lease is back, 27 months @$373 + tax (GTA)

Retailer:
Budds Cadillac
Budds Cadillac in Oakville ON. Total down $3820 including first payment and taxes

Pretty decent deal, not as good as it was but still attractive - I am currently driving one, my lease is up in a couple of months. Great family car, I'm debating buying it out or re-leasing.

The current additional discount for Costco members is included I'm guessing.

I'm sure it's great if you like throwing money away on gasoline. Had a BMW X3 loaner for a week (likely very similar to this). Interior was nice enough, but I was extremely happy to get my lower priced Tesla back after that week. Tesla has completely ruined fossil fuel powered vehicles for me (not a bad thing).

FYI: Given the downpayment that includes the first payment, the cost per month is $547.36 with HST included.

[ (373 * 26) * 1.13 + 3820 ] / 27 = $547.36

My lease from the last XT5 offer ends in August. Can I still get this offer now for this price?

Are there any additional discounts for being a Costco member?

So the price of an entry level brand SUV? That means this is a good deal..

It's a bit less as there is a refundable security deposit of ~$500 I think

List price is about $45K + destination.

If that's correct you're paying $14,278.72 to rent a new XT5 for 2 years and 3 months, which is a pretty good deal. Obviously if you really wanted to save money you'd buy a low-mileage RAV4 and drive it until the wheels fall off but I can understand why you'd take this deal.

I would guess that they do this because they have excess inventory and/or factory incentives and they think they can sell lightly-used off lease XT5s for a good profit. They're probably right.

My lease is up in June and have been waiting for this - not loving that down payment though. Hopefully this improves in a couple months when the 2020s come out.

I don't know if Cadillac includes it for free or not in their service package, but another advantage in these 24-33 months leases is the low chances you'll need to get new brakes and go through extensive maintenance. Also tires, although this is less of an issue in Canada because I imagine most people who drive these type of vehicles have snow tires.

~$550 for FWD base SUV?!!?
why it's a good deal just because it's Cadillac?!

I would not buy a base car because of the brand! instead of getting a full option Toyota,Honda, Hyundai or any other cars paying almost the same amount for a base Cadillac!

Agreed, not making any sense paying for a base FWD Cadillac, just because it's a Cadillac!

What I'm saying is that this offer is ONLY for eligible Costco members. I.e. you have to be a Costco member to take advantage of this deal.

"Base" and "fully optioned" don't necessarily tell the full story.

Besides being FWD this car has everything really that you would need (at least for me): real leather, back up camera, a nice screen, powered front seats, and V6.

And please do not compare Hyundai to a Cadillac. Please, go read up the automobile history and see where Cadillac was at in the 70s or so.
