I ponied up $50 to buy the Panasonic QE-TM101 and I don't regret it. Charges fast by just dropping it on the pad on the nightstand.

I didn't realize they came down so low in price, I might pick up a few for the office and at the computer desk.

If anyone wants a solid wireless charger I bought this for $30 and couldn't be happier with it: http://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00EHE0 ... UTF8&psc=1 . Can remove small speaker for silent operation, otherwise it just beeps when you place it down. Work amazingly well for my N5. I'm now a lover of wireless charging.

My amazon review:

SMALL – the pad is about the size of a Galaxy Note in height, width and depth.
FAST – the included 1.5amp power plug is superior to others that use 1.2amps, and charges the phone quickly. I’m super impressed.
STAYS 100% CHARGED – This brings my phone to 100% battery and keeps it there.
SOUND – the unit makes a short beep only when a device is placed on it. No further sounds for removing the device, or when it’s charged etc. No buzzing noises whatsoever. Good!
LIGHT – I use the pad in my office. The light is visible but not piercing like some sharp LEDs. Only colours are green when idle and blue when device is detected.
APPEARANCE – It’s an all-white pad with minimal markings and no branding other than the “Qi” on the front. It looks good.
USB CORD – Cord is white in colour and a fairly standard USB length, which unfortunately may not be long enough depending on your power source. It’s regular USB on the end into the wall charger, and micro USB into the pad itself. Count on using your own, longer USB cord for bedroom applications.
PACKAGING - It arrived in a very nice box with professional packaging. The Engrish in the manual is the only indication this thing is from China.

---Cons---:
BEDROOM LIGHT – I don’t like extra lights in the bedroom, period. Luckily the light from this unit isn’t sharp, or very bright. With a touch of White-Out over the lense the light output would be absolutely perfect. Or, use tape. Easy.
BEDROOM SOUND – There are no buzzing noises etc but in a silent bedroom next to the Missus the beep might get you into trouble. There is no on/off switch for the speaker. The speaker is enclosed inside the pad. There are no grille vents exposing the speaker to the outside. Modify the unit by removing the small rubber feet to expose the screws (I assume they are under there) open it up and remove the speaker. Or, covering the speaker in glue usually works, too.

I’ll be ordering a couple more of these for my bedroom to house my Nexus 5 and Nexus 7. Will update then.

I hope this helps :)

The Q8 is the fastest but the top 3 are all within seconds of a full charge so they are all about equal.

Thanks for the infor. Just curious to know if there are any potential issues with using this type of off-brand wireless chargers? Sorry but I am relatively new to this technology. I normally stay with name brand when it comes to battery related accessories in the past. Thanks.

Yes, apparently you can fit exactly 81 sheets of lined Hilroy loose leaf paper between the charger and the phone, and it will still charge!

Thanks, I was going to buy an official nexus wireless, but if the charge times of all of these are basically the same, I might as well try a cheap one.
