Building supply stores in the GTA?

Can someone recommend building supply stores throughout the GTA?

I'm looking for door hinges, door stops, prehung doors, etc.

*Note, I am aware of Simcoe Building Supplies but need a location near my properties in the west end of GTA. (Hamilton, Burlington, Oakville, St. Catherine's area)

Go to Google Maps. Type in a address/location like Hamilton and hit enter. Click the "nearby" and type Building supplies in the search box and hit enter.

I actually did that but "building supplies" captures a list of companies that have nothing to do with what I'm looking for. This is why I was specific in what I was looking for and was hoping a renovator/builder can comment.

If you are specifically looking for doors or door hardware... Google "door hardware stores".

You wouldn't believe the markup these hardware stores charge over the specialty stores, so no, I'm not looking for the DIY stores.

For example: a door stop at Home Depot is $2.98.

My supplier in the Barrie region charges $0.39.

For hardware, try Richelieu. They're located near the airport.

For construction supplies, try Bernardi. They are in west Mississauga.

I know. The OP said he was asking for renovator/builder to comment and that he's not looking for DIY stores so I thought the OP had access to a professional who can purchase on the OP's behalf.

It’s quite easy to get supplies, just give them your company number and say you want to sign up to have an account with them. The paperwork is fairly minimal, couple signatures and bam you can buy from there.
