Like the Don Cherry dog. Everything I read say every other like The Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier and the American pit bull terrier. Never just says Bull Terrier.

Thanks for any info.

Any dog in the bully breed can be classified as a pit bull, and all are derived from dogs that were originally a cross between some type of bulldog and a terrier.

is the ancentry of a bull terrier a mix of bulldog and terrier?

Please don't get another one of these. Very annoying passing these people with their dogs
wtf
obviously the dog's temperament has probably changed after being held captive for 3 weeks.

why would you allow your dog to go to a stranger's face, especially a stranger who fears dogs.

any dog senses things

Always an excuse for this breed, doing what they do.... Why can you not accept genetic traits in dogs and why do you have to blame the victim?

And from B.C. ...
Officers were called to "a known residence" on Wavecrest Road in the Stories Beach neighbourhood after a man "emerged from the home covered in blood," police said.

When they arrived, officers found the 50-year-old resident outside. He told them his wife was inside and asked police to save her.

"Officers entered the home to find the 50-year-old female suffering from multiple large gashes, punctures, and blood loss caused by the family Staffordshire Bull Terrier," police said in their release.

I may have replied to this thread previously. Can't remember.

I've had 3 when I was growing up, just be careful with them. One attacked my step mother the other 2 were amazing.

they are not pitbulls. People need to discuss this knowing what they are talking about. I know I'm going to get flak for this post but I really don't care. And no, I would not buy an actual pit bull. A bull terrier is not the same breed.

That said. Are they banned? Not that I know of. They don't look like a pit bull for one. But they are incredibly strong.

Expensive to buy, can be prone to health issues (our first one died of kidney failure at 3 years old), but are great dogs if you get a good one.
