I hope McD's follow suit. Not many BK's around here.

Can't speak to all locations, but all 3 BK locations in Downtown Vancouver have noticeably "watered down" ice cream, even compared to McD's.

After the first bite, it really just doesn't taste like much.

Had a cone today - i feel these are so much colder (and better) than McDonalds soft serve. Great quick and cheap treat

Gotta admit, their chocolate shakes are fantastic.

I tried one for $2 last summer. I think most fast food milkshakes are pure trash but the BK one is legitimately good. Actually tastes like a MILK-based product vs. the typical "frozen dessert" garbage.

+1 I like their ice cream cones better than McD - these (hopefully they haven't changed) don't seem to have as much waxy edible oil filler crap - unlike McD that leaves a layer of Turtle Car Wax on your tongue after eating one.

p.s. Hopefully Wendy's frosty will be $0.99 soon!

How are they compared to Harvey's?

I know this is blasphemous to many out there but I find Harvey's shakes to be disgusting. They have that artificial frozen dessert flavour while simultaneously being far too rich... Sickly sweet.

The only question I have is how big is a mini shake? Hopefully not Jr Frosty sized!

Ditto. Tried them when they first came out and almost threw up!

I figure they must be converting old rancid sour milk that they're getting free and adding equal parts liquid sucrose and some artificial flavour.

Cone is a no-go at Birchmount and Ellesmere in Scarborough. It will go into a cup.
Why can't they just put the cone upside down in a cup, so you get both? Like Mcdonald's style.

Got it in a cup also a couple days ago, was little disappointed it was very small.
Got a 99 cent Wendy's chocolate frosty the next day, it was a lot bigger.
