BK normally lags behind on price increases where all the others Wendys, Mcdicks, Harveys are borderline "Gourmet" prices. Combos are like $10 minimum and their value menu is like starting at $2.50. I remember literally like 1-2 years ago you could get an offensive amount of food at BK for $10. $2 for 20 nuggets, 2 for 6 mix and match whoppers/chieckn sandwich, legit value meal pricing. Its ok though probably better on my health lol.
Sometimes there's a reason for the difference in pricing between fast food places (and it's not always because of corporate advertising and overhead). Sometimes it's because it's literally the quality of the ingredients.

No i totally get that, but when i go to one of these places that's never my mindset. Its simply cents per calorie I'm looking to maximize.

I'd also consider: cents per fat content, cents per cholesterol content, cents per sugar content, and cents per sodium content. Winking Face

McDs and BK will definitely top the list.

Horrible. BK "original chicken sandwich" is salty, watery, (briney?), and just pretty low quality. BK has a higher quality chicken sandwich IIRC, but this one is pretty bad. Also usually they slather it in mayo. Only time this sandwich is good IMO, is when they have the parmesean promo going and they put the marinara and mozzarella on it.

Also price on this keeps going up, as others have indicated.

Not good.

Not even close. Mary Brown's much better. BK is extremely salty and uneatable imo.

I was always drawn to BK's 2/$X deals, but agree with others that it's extremely salty. I wouldn't eat this regularly, but will in a pinch.

This doesn't compare to a Big Mary, at all.

I used to LOVE BK chicken sandwiches, Back in my highschool days, late 1990 early 2000s they were good. NOW? Greasy garbage.
Mary Browns for sure!

I remember when it was 2 for $5 like 4 years ago.

This isn't much of a deal as they were running this through coupons, permanent mobile app coupon, and walk-ins with signs.

For those pointing out how salty these sandwiches are, you're not wrong. These are the sodium amounts for similar sandwiches at other fast food places:

BK: 1289.9 mg
McChicken: 640 mg
Big Mary: 694 mg
KFC Big Crunch: 1054 mg
Wendy's Spicy chicken: 1110 mg
Wendy's Classic Chicken: 1330 mg
Harvey's Crispy Chicken: 1100 mg
Popeyes Classic Chicken: 1288.1 mg
Jollibee Original Chicken: 1100 mg
Church's Original Chicken: 1770 mg
Chick-fil-A: 1530 mg
Chick-fil-A spicy: 1800 mg

Same here. They have literally had that poster in the window since they opened.

I get it from time to time, but always in spicy.

BK chicken sandwich is more like a large salty chicken tender. Mary Brown's chicken sandwich is comparing to Popeye's or KFC chicken sandwich.

Bad deal when you can get two whoppers for $8. I know they're completely different sandwiches but I'm pretty sure one whopper weighs as much as two of these.
