Burger King "Royal Perks" rewards program

ordered some bk for lunch today and noticed theres a rewards program now. think it started sometime this month? maybe they were feeling the heat from mcdonalds new rewards and wanted to do something to keep customers. very similar to the mcdonalds program imo.

got 5000 bonus points on my first order on the app.

A few things to note:

Is there a limit to the number of Crowns that you can earn?
YES
The highest number of Crowns that a guest can have at any time is 1,000,000 Crowns.

Careful also, because there is an expiry date for the collected crowns.

Do Crowns expire?
YES
Crowns earned will expire 1 year after the calendar month in which they were earned.

So, this is a use it or lose it deal. Motivation to use up crowns on lower valued items sooner, rather than later or "too late".
If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Burger King is awesome for the coupons on their APP, whether a single meal, two meals or a family meal bundle they seem to have a valid coupon for every situation.

Reward programs establishments might enjoy, personally i dislike them. Forget all the nonsense, give me a virtual coupon it just seems more up front and accessible for my needs.

it's nice that they pretty much always have the reg batch of coupons in the app. value wise i think it's better than mcdonalds too, especially after the most recent hikes in their mailer coupon offers. 2 can dine is $12.49 at bk vs $13.38 at mcd.

i'd take good coupons over rewards too but having both is even better imo.

Also: A Whopper Jr is 6000 points.
12 thousand points to make it a Medium Whopper combo.
