Would this be suitable for hosting a small business page.

Currently looking at Siteground and A2 hosting and this is way cheaper.

I’m with them for two websites. Can be a bit slow when loading large images. Other than that, can’t complain. Reliable, never went down.

And if it’s like the last time, you get to keep the price when renewing.

Why not good for a e-commerce site? Too slow? Not enough space?

i mean, you definitely could but i personally wouldn't put mission critical application on a $5/year hosting

as long as you keep backups yourself then it should work ?

No scaling, no loadbalancing, No SLAs, no control over who enters or exits your network, no autobackup....

You need one of these https://aws.amazon.com/lightsail/pricing/

OP's links are for hosting your restaurant's menu on a website.

Honestly, at this price, get yourself a digitalocean droplet or an AWS lightsail instance instead.

Edit: Didn't realize the price was per year. Still, product holds very little value for me. If your site is static, get it hosted for free through github, gitlab, or netlify. If it's dynamic, get a VPS.

For very light websites, this deal seems better. Prices are per year, not per month. Lightsail, for e.g., as per the link, is $3.50 a month, so $42 a year.
