what i see on my account first 15 months.. unsure what it is afterwards, same thing live chat unavailable.

I accepted the offer by logging into my online account this morning. Through the app, I was offered the same plan for $40. I did get the text later with the $35 offer though. So if you didn't get it in the app, try logging into your online account.

What plan price were you on before accepting this new offer?

I also see the discount is for 15 months. This is what I see in my existing customer Fido account (tablet data plan):

20GB FOR $35/MO FOR 15 MONTHS

Add a new line to your account and get $5/mo off for 24 months plus an additional $15/mo credit for 15 months using code YAYFIDO15 . That’s 20GB for $35/mo instead of $55/mo for the first 15 months!

It works on both the 20gb/$50 and 25gb/$55 plans.

Got it for myself, thank you. I could not do it for my wife's line though.

Workmate who is also on Fido is not seeing the deal.

I was on the 12gb plan (but it was 17gb for some reason) for $50

Now I'm on this plan 20 gb for $35.

Just left Fido today for the Mobile Klinik Koodo $30/20GB ($55/month, $20/15 months + $5/24 months discount). Was with Fido on $45/20GB + 2x 5GB bonus data addons for 15/18months. The lowest "offer" they had for me was $58/45GB, or $63/50GB.

So yeah, like all Fido plans, YMMV. I suspect this is Rogers' response to the outflow of customers leaving Fido for Koodo/competitors.

At this point, I'd suggest just changing to Koodo and go back to Fido in the future... at least that way you'd also be eligible for winback plans.

The way they word it seems like the 15 month is only for the new line you add though? I'm trying to get through live chat to clarify. I'm on $45 25GB (pernament) right now but would to grab this.

Waiting to chat with CC to get this.. Fingers crossed. I'm on $40/20GB. $5 in my pocket is better than in Fido's.
