BYOD cell plans

I recall a few Boxing Days ago they had 10GB for $60 and people were waiting on hold for 2-3 hours to get but I passed as I didn’t need but if there was a 15GB for $50 like Fido winback for all the carriers I would be all over this. Really needs to be lower than that but in today’s realistic cell phone environment this would be a good deal

Would be nice if the carriers do offer the $50 for 15GB plan.

I’ve heard the same. I’ll work on having my provider match

I switched to freedom in 2018 before Fido won me back. Had the service for a good 10 days. It's a lot better than what ppl make it out to be. There are odd times when the signal just dies for a few seconds and comes back as if nothing happened. Otherwise, really good speeds in the city and very good call quality as well. Data was really bad (speed and consistency) outside the city though. You won't notice if you're buffering a video, but you will if you're playing an online game.

How do you guys go about getting your current carrier to price match great offers from other carriers?

I got a 15GB for 50$ from Rogers but that was a win back deal, I was with them on BYOD with 5GB for 43$ (corporate plan) and I switched to Virging with 55$ for 8GB, 3 days later they called me back and offered me the deal, I even brought back my wife under the same plan too as she also moved to Freedom (but wasn't happy with the QOS).
