Key points:
1) Online Reservations only. All slots were full since last Thursday. They have changed their offer from 1/person/email address/day to 1/person/email address/offer period. Duplicate reservations being cancelled effective Wednesday 12:01am and those slots may open up online (link is broken on CF page though) or in person at Guest Services (more likely as people have designed bots to snap up any slot in seconds and the direct page now references to contact guest services).

2) Limit 2 per reservation. Person's name registered must be the one that shows up and present ID (people have been trying to sell slots resulting in significant abuse).

3) Please be courteous to the staff, they have taken significant abuse from Customers at Eaton Centre in last week's promo and this week's madness to-date at Markville. This ranged from demanding their full name to send complaints, to demanding managers that won't bend, to arguing they don't have appointment cause they can't get any but to give it to them anyways even though the offer conditions clearly indicate its not allowed, to outright not leaving and holding up the line.

Does it stack? buy 2 x $500 and get $1200 to use at an apple?

Can confirm that you need to book an appointment online and this will work at Apple Stores. CF Sherway Garden had this promo last week and I was able to use the mall gift cards to buy an Apple gift card at the Apple Store immediately. Just remember to keep your receipts from guest services until you use up the gift card balances.

At a quick glance, CF Rideau Centre and CF Markville also have this promo for the same period.

This was abused by some people already last week. CF needs to do a better job

My pet peeve, Cadillac Fairview is the only shopping mall owner to charge a $1.50 fee per gift card!

CF was not being consistent.

At CF pacific mall in Vancouver, walk in was allowed and on first day of promo, each person was allowed to buy 3.
And for those who had appointments, they were allowed to bring family and friend to max the head count.

And now at other malls, CF Richmond center for example, no walk-in is allowed...no family&friends allowed, only 2 person...

there were many reservation spots for sale for $40 last week. Like someone else mentioned, the site was basic so it was easy for bots to purchase in seconds.

if you loose it, it costs $5 to replace it
not sure about now, but in the past they had a dormant fee (so if you didn't use up all the balance in 1 month you'd get charged a monthly fee, until you use it or they deplete it

Yeah, I actually didn’t get charged for 3*$500 purchase at once

Had a bad experience in Richmond. I had two appointments booked for today and they suddenly changed the rules this morning.
