Obviously no need to debate the wisdom of going during a pandemic but thought I'd post for those interested.

No validation or proof necessary to take advantage of offer as per the offer details!

A few weeks ago they gave the province a bunch of free passes into the Stampede to be added as prizes to LottoVax, now first responders and their fams can attend for free.

It’s all quite admirable, and while I feel for the Stampede, I just don’t see them getting anything more than paltry attendance.

Good effort for those who deserve it. Given the no proof necessary, I'm sure it'll be abused but the good intention is there by the Stampede. Hope those who are comfortable attending can take advantage of this offer, well deserved after the last 16 months.

Just an FYI you will be charged a service fee of $1.25 each if you buy it online. You can get it for free in person subject to capacity.

Nope, Alberta government purchased the Stampede prizes available in the vaccine lottery for approximately $60,000.

Well I guess that’s one way the province can support the Stampede.

Can't seem to change the number of ticket from 4, so the cost is $5 for 4 tickets. However the tickets are emailed as 4 separate tickets, and they're good for all 5 days. Going to see some shows at the ̶C̶o̶c̶a̶C̶o̶l̶a̶ Stampede Summer Stage!

Here for the comments. Pretty sure healthcare workers don't want to attend an event surrounded by maskless unvaccinated people.

The whole province is pretty much maskless now, thank God. If they don't want to go, don't go.

Regardless, good on the Stampede to give away admission to give people a break.

It's only valid for Friday, July 9 to Tuesday, July 13. AKA, not the dates I would have gone.

Grabbed mine yesturday not healthcare but fall under the other groups. Think with this promo it is gonna be busier now. Probably why they did this as they noticed ticket sales are probably way down. I wouldn’t have gone without this. Half the rides, half the games, half the food, half the show yet full price ticket.

$5 for 4 it’s worth taking a look around. Bunch of my coworkers were in the same boat, wasn’t going and with this they now are.

Guess for stampede not a big deal as your gonna spend $30 - $40 each easy on food and stuff.

Went yesterday and had a blast, crowds are smaller this year. I’ll probably go again next week sometime.

I went yesterday and we had a good time. They had trouble scanning us in for the evening show but the guy just gave up on scanning and told us to go in.
