There are two major meditation apps out there: Headspace and Calm.

Calm lifetime subscription normally cost $499.99 CAD but there is currently a 60% off offer, which currently puts a lifetime license at $199.99 CAD.

However, connect to VPN in Turkey and the price shows at TRY 1,329.99 and with the current 60% off promo, it becomes TRY 531.99 which works out to be about $62 CAD.

Remember to use a card with no FX fee to save even more.

Remember folks. Lifetime subscription means the company's lifetime. Not yours.

Worked for me. Didn't even care about FX fees on this deal. $60ish even for a year is worth it if you use this regularly.

Thanks OP!

I get Calm from work, and it's been a good app to ground oneself, as long as a person follows through with the programs.

Calm is great and $60 is probably worth it to never have to think about this again.

I personally prefer HealthyMinds. It’s more structured and free. Give all the apps a try and see what works for you.

Considering this is $77 + tax annually this is a steal and I jumped on it right away. Most good meditation apps are priced similarly. My Calm subscription recently expired and I held off subscribing to try out different apps but I find Calm to be the best (especially for beginners). Thanks for sharing this deal!

the original price is $499 for an app? holy smokes.

Its a digital product and it doesn't cost then anything for an extra license. Very unfair pricing. $60 should be the original price. DOn't be fooled by the 88% tag.
I own a service with Public Mobile and with Fido.

Tried after VPN but price still shows up the $CA199 - anyone else with this issue?
I tried both with my current account (annual subscription) and as a new registration.

I'd love to do this too. Hopefully someone can report on a VPN that works, and hopefully they offer a free trial.

I’m using private internet access. Signed in from Turkey as the OP indicated and got charged $56.35 for a lifetime membership using my Stack Mastercard. Not a bad deal!

Is 3 years for $79 a good deal for PIA? It seems to stack with a Rakutan eBates 50% off also. So about $40 for 3 years + bonus 3 months?
I used to subscribe to SmartDNSProxy and remember some pretty deep discounts there when they wanted to retain you as a customer.

Didn't work for me in Chrome (which I previously used to login to Calm)

However I tried Edge, used a different email address, and it worked. Got charged $61.01

I used Fastest VPN with Turkey gateway

Thanks OP!

That’s a really good deal! I’m paying $32 annually and been using them for 5 years with no issues.

If you don’t want to pay for it, don’t.

This app is fantastic, receives frequent updates and has daily meditations. It’s been around since 2012 and is unlikely to disappear randomly.

From Wikipedia:

As of February 2019, the company was valued at $1 Billion and had raised $116 million, with contributions from existing investors, including Insight Venture Partners, Ashton Kutcher’s Sound Ventures, and Creative Artists Agency.[1]
