While looking at mirrorless bodies I came across a listing from Camera Canada in London for the Nikon Z6 body. Last week this body was $2599.99 but they were including the FTZ adapter (MSRP $329.99) to use Nikon F mount lenses. Nikon just announced a price drop on their camera bodies but I noticed some of the other retailers weren't including the FTZ adapter but were showing a lower price. Looks like you can order it directly from Camera Canada and get the bundled adapter or visit any B&M store that price matches and see if they will match the offer.

Maybe the reason is that instead of cutting the price now, they give a freebie. BB does that a lot i.e. give something free now but sometime later the price goes down.

That's what they were doing for the past several weeks, offering the FTZ adapter as a freebie. The $200 price cut is on top of getting the adapter in this case which for me was enough to move to mirrorless from my D800.

Good deal but this MAY be an error on their website. The old promo was the free FTZ, the new promo is $300 off MSRP. Look like CC has dropped the price but left the old promo.

Somebody buy this and let us know if it works!!

EDIT: No other retailers have the free FTZ anymore, Henrys, Vistek, Amazon, BJ Photo, all have the $300 off MSRP, even the Nikon site has no mention of the free FTZ promo

With the Z6 you would need full frame lenses which adds to the cost. I have a D600 and love the dynamic range.
Yes, I'll have to think about all the cost that the additional lenses Z6 is going to need. I would need at least one lens to get started with. I'm just wondering if I should wait and go for D7200, use it for few more years or just jump on to the mirrorless.

You can use DX lenses on the Z6. They will be cropped to 11mb which is fine for prints up to 8x10. I'm still using my D90 which is a 12mb camera.

Free FTZ is a Nikon promotion. Every place has this or should. Can’t remember when it expires (think soon).
Edit: “should” but it seems many others do not.
