Camera & Lens & Photo Accessories price check thread.

Hi all. I thought we should start a thread to check prices of camera things we just bought. Others can then tell you if it was a good deal or not. This will be useful, since camera gears often worth hundreds if not thousands of dollars. Let's help each other. Smiling Face With Open Mouth

This is not a place for you to sell things. It is for you to check prices of products that you either just bought, or you are very close to buying. Of course, if it is something you are close to buying, be careful that someone else here might steal your deal. So you have to be careful there.

Post away!

Last time I bought something related to photography, it was a twin pack of films (20) for Instax Mini. I needed something to reach the $35 free shipping. $21.99 on Amazon.

No need to tell me, it's not a deal. It's the normal price because it's the plain white border one. But I saved on the shipping AND I got something I'll need. Printing on my last pack of films.

Have a friend offering me their Fuji X-T1 w/ kit lens for $650. Would love to hear an opinion on that deal before I pull the trigger.

That might be but it does provide links to the various retailers so that you can click through to check the price.... beats having to find the links yourself on the various websites. And the price history graph is handy to see where the prices have been.

This was helpful to me. I am looking for a specific lens and have been searching all over for a better price. photoprice.ca shows it has a steady price so I'm not going to spend any more time looking. Thanks for posting the site.

They don't always have the newest and latest model up and running, unless people send a request in. However, the data are tracked in real time per item, so don't know where you got the impression that they are "too old".

Someone's offering to sell me a Z7 + 24-70 f/4 S locally for $3,300. It's a pretty sweet deal, but no FTZ and strikes me as overkill for a hobbyist...

I have been tracking price of EOS R camera for a while.

Today it went on a decent sale across the board, especially at Vistek. $1958 plus taxes, including kit lens 24-105 (this is not L lens), 64GB card and an aftermarket LP-E6N battery.

Availability it says On order.

Another notable mention is similar deal on Camera Canada website, although price is $2299.99 plus tax but it comes with BG-E22 battery grip (which btw is on sale on Canon estore for $199 plus tax).

BestBuy and Henrys has this similar bundle on $2299.99 as well but no battery grip or extra battery.

Similar bundle on RP as well is on sale.

I am still holding to pull the plug on EOS R, will probably wait until Black Friday/Christmas.

Looking for a new/used Canon EOS M5. I recently sold my EOS M and want to continue using my 22mm f/2 pancake and other canon lenses via adapter.

What is the price range for new and used?

i was literally looking at buying the RP last night with the wife and i guess now its cheaper lol

pulled the trigger
Glad I could help. I also went ahead and pulled the trigger on EOR R bundle for $1958 for which they have changed the price to 2299.99 now.

Over the chat with Vistek and then subsequent email communication with sales associate, I was able to get them to change the extra aftermarket battery to Canon original battery for additional cost of about $25.
Not too shabby of a deal in my opinion. The lens I would most definitely put up for sale.
