Campbell's Tomato, Chicken, Mushroom, Vegetable Soup - 50c Walmart, 24c RCSS (Scarborough Town Center, YMMV)

Price:
0.50
Was at Walmart STC today and they have the Andy Warhol designed canned Campbell's soups on clearance for 0.50 cents, saw Tomato, Chicken, Mushroom, Vegetable all at that price. Plenty of stock of Tomato (Feb 2022 expiry) and Mushroom.

Sale not listed on their flyer or online yet. Funky ltd edition can design, looks a bit like this:

It's too bad Campbell's did 2 things I dislike:

1) Pulled out of Canada

2) Got rid of some of the soups I liked most like Turkey Noodle and Chunky Vegetable. Replaced with things like Southwest Chicken. Tried it...yuck!

These days I put my slow cooker to good use and make my own chicken noodle soup. Much better. But their regular tomato and vegetable soup is still okay...

Thanks OP, I know exactly where these are in the store. Going to swing by and grab some cans.

I already stopped and took some photos when I saw them for the first time but they were sitting at over $1 so I was like, 'Naaaaah' :)

If you can take a photo of the ltd edition can and post that would be great. Might end up being a collectors item...

@scoper what's the expiry dates on these cans? Edit: I mean not the Tomato ones! Mostly interested in Mushroom and Vegetable.

I don't think it's in the flyer but these are on sale at RCSS for $0.24 each.

Wow, did they have lots in stock? Still Warhol but they look different than the Walmart Tomato cans.

Edit: Stock at STC should last a few days at least (would think)
The end aisle and the soup aisle both have these cans.

Also! Regular cans are 50 cents as well, like Chicken Noodle

I went to the Superstore at 401/Brimley and they only had tomato on sale for 24 cents. The other flavours were regular price.

They changed their mushroom soup, which I used to use for fried pork chop sauce.

It tasted almost the same but the consistency was horrible. I emailed them as I thought I got a bad batch.

Here is their reply:

“ We have recently changed the equipment that our soup is made in. A gentler and slower cooking method means that some of our products have changed in taste and texture. While there are some differences in our recipes now, you can be assured that it is prepared with the same great quality that you can expect from Campbell’s.”

They sent me 10 x $2 off coupons which was great!
