Can rav4 rim fits a C-HR?

I have extra rav4 rim and tires of 225/65/r17

Can they be installed directly to a c-Hr that uses 215/60/17?

Thanks.

Is there a website that can check compatibility?

My original rim for CHR was
17inch, rim width is 6.5 inch, offset = 45mm, centre bore 60mm

The one that I possibly want to buy is
17inch, rim width is 7.5 inch, offset = 52mm, centre bore 64mm

Can I use this rim for 215/60/r17 rim? How will the difference in offset play?

If rim offset and bolt pattern fits, your speedo will still be off by 5%.

I would not use the the RAV4 stuff on the C-HR. It's too big.

Thanks, what if I take off the tire on the rav4 rim and put on the chr tires onto the rav4 rim.

Would that work?

Maybe. I can't give you a definite answer without more information.

-Year of C-HR
-Year of RAV4
-Make and model of C-HR tires

Thank you for your valuable information.

Year of C-HR=2018, has 4 tires of size, 215/60/17
Year of Rav4=2018, car is gone, left 4 17rims, 5x114
Make and model of chr tires: 215/60/r17 continental tires

Want to put tires on rim and install the rim to C-HR

Will any 5 bolt 17 inch work? Like those Mazda Honda rim?

Yes. Any will fit, from any manfucaturer...

As long as it is 5x114 bolt pattern.

As long as the diameter is 17.

As long as the width is within 1 inch.

As long as the offset is similar (within 1 inch)

And then, any will fit.

More info about the rims that you have:

2018 Toyota C-HR
Bolt Pattern - 5 x 114
Stock wheel offset - 35 to 53 mm
Tire sizes - 225/60 R16 – 235/35 R20

2018 Toyota RAV4
Bolt Pattern - 5 x 114
Stock wheel offset - 30 to 50 mm
Tire sizes - 225/70 R16 – 245/45 R20

The rims are very close. And the tires are very close.

In general the RAV4 is using bigger tires, as you can see above. Obviously.

If your C-Hr uses 215/60/17, and you go to 225/65/r17, the main consideration is that the tire is a tiny bit wider. And taller.

A wider tire will give you more grip, but it may cause your fuel efficiency to go down. Other than that (grip and fuel efficiency) you may not even notice other changes.

You also have to check the centre bore hole size. That's the donut hole right smack in the middle of the rim.

If it's smaller than your car's centre bore size, then obviously it won't fit. If it's too big, you can use hub centric rings to fill in the gap.

Interesting comments am learning a lot.

Question, are the two cars that the OP is asking about on the same platform and are the brakes the same size? Asking because of my own experience when I moved from a 2016 to a 2019 Honda Accord because I got a really good deal on my lease (paying less for a newer car). Was surprized to find out that my winter tires didn't fit when all the wheel specs lined up as outlined in the various posts. Apparently, Honda went with larger brakes and the wheels would not fit in properly.

OPs rims are the same at 17"... only the tires are different.

This is often overlooked.

You're all over the place.
Your OP says RAV4 to CH-R and now talking about BMW to Toyota...what exactly are you trying to do?

Okay. Here's what I found.

The C-HR wheels are 17x6.5 +45
The RAV4 wheels are 17x7 +45
Bolt pattern and centerbore are the same.

The 0.5" difference in width means that the RAV4 wheels will sit 0.25" more inboard, and 0.25" more outboard. I suspect outboard clearance will be fine. You need to check the inboard clearance, and with the steering at full lock. I suspect that will be fine as well.

The C-HR tires are Continental ProContact TX which have an approved rim width range of 6-7.5", so they will be safe to use on the wider RAV4 wheels.

So in summary, go for it!

My centre bore size is 60mm, so a corolla rim whose centre bore size is 54mm (with offset 39mm) will not fit?

Thanks for your valuable input
