Thank you!

I'm glad I asked - Wikipedia says: All parts of the plant are highly poisonous.
And it's most likely invasive.

It sure smells nice!

It is invasive. I've been trying to get rid of it for years.

When life gives you lemons... "Lily of the valley has been used in weddings and can be very expensive. Lily of the valley was featured in the bridal bouquet at the wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton."

Time for a side job ;)

Yep Lily of the Valley - it's also known to be poisonous though I haven't found it to be invasive in the 3 years I've had the garden...at least not compared to forget-me-nots Face With Tears Of Joy

My parents had a ton of it and the dog liked to sleep on it in the summer because it was in shade to begin with, but additionally the leaves stayed nice and cool. All that daily lounging did NOTHING to dampen its enthusiasm to spread and grow.
