Can you pass an item to a person arriving in YYZ before their 3-day hotel stay?

Can anyone with experience of arriving to Canada comment if it's possible to pass the item to arriving person before they leave to the 3-day hotel stay? Need to give new iPad to my mom, her iPad died when she was away from country.
I assume the answer might be yes as they can use taxi / "skip" the quarantine, etc.., but wanted to make sure.
Thanks!

Don't see why you wouldn't be able to drop it off at the front desk and say to give to guest x,y,z, on arrival.

Maybe you can contact the hotel and ask them if they will allow you to drop it off at the hotel. I know someone who dropped off food for their parents at the hotel while they were qurantining so technically it is possible.

Thank you, doing it at the hotel makes perfect sense + I can call hotel in advance to check if it's possible at that specific hotel

You could probably just give it to them outside the hotel before they check in. They are not escorted there under police escort.

You can go to the hotel and meet her. I know someone who some took food for two days to his dad without a problem. Took a case of "Pops" for him too. It's really a joke when they say quarantine. People walking all over the hotel as normal.
