Can you take the car to any dealership for warranty work?

Or the one you got the vehicle from?

Given that the warranty is from the manufacturer i think it could be any dealership but wanted to confirm.

Would call my dealership to ask but dealers tend to lie since warranty work is a moneymaker.

You can do it at any dealership, as long as they are your brand's dealership.

E.g. if you bought a VW from VW Downtown Toronto, you can take it to Oakville VW, Milton VW, or even Laval VW in Quebec.

But you can't bring it to another brand, like a Honda dealership.

Yes only your brand and usually don't work for subrands as I just got my car in an Acura dealership but it's a Honda, they stated I have to go back to a Honda dealership to do the warranty work

You bought the car at a dealership in Toronto, You can even bring it to BC or PEI to do the warranty work if you like. Smiling Face With Open Mouth And Smiling Eyes
Aslong as you go to the same brand's dealership.

If it is warranty work, you are not paying anything. The manufacture pay the dealership's service department, not you.
Go to the one that convenient the most.
