Can you use a TV stand designed for Vesa 200 x 200 on a 100 x 100 TV?

From what I see, Vesa 100 x 100 on the TV has closer holes than a typical vesa 200 x 200 mount.

But what about this stand where you would simply place the arms where they need to line up?

If I'm understanding what you're saying then it should be fine as long as it fits. There can't be a concern for the TV to be too heavy for the stand since 100x100 TV's are usually smaller and lighter.

I don’t think it will fit because you will be able to much one row of holes, but not the other.

The vertical spacing on that mount is a multiple of 200. 100 mount will have different vertical spacing.

You need something like this as an adapter:

Yeah, the problem is between the adapter and the stand. It adds about $50 in cost to a $95 22" TV that has those dumb legs at the ends instead of a table top stand.

You know if it's the stand listed, I think it will work. It says minimum 75x75 and VESA 100 is 100mm, so that should work unless I'm reading the specs wrong.

I think @Nevyn is probably correct. Other stands have elongated holes that allow for vertical alignment.
This one doesn't so it really appears to me like there will be a vertical issue.

Yup you're right the specs are VESA 200. I looked at the 5th pic where it says minimum 75 maximum 400. Maybe the elongated holes would make it too difficult to mount as VESA 100.
I'm assuming you looked on Amazon? I'd be surprised if you can't find something there.

@Nevyn, your find seems perfect to me. I was all over the primecables site and didn't see it.
I'll grab one as soon as they have one of their discount codes which, I imagine, should happen in the next week or so. It's to use with the Best Buy 22" Insignia TV that's part of the BD sale.

I did see https://www.primecables.ca/p-362610-cab ... ime-mounts but $68 was way too much.

This one was also $57.

Thx for your help everyone.

I ordered the TV this morning. I guess the BB boxing day sale starts today because of Quebec restrictions. Now I need a Primecables BD deal.

Thanks for that head's up, ordering now. Good bar TV to replace the ancient Insignia I have now.
