this was the same price as black friday wasn't it ? I think it always goes for this price whenever it is on so call 'sale'.

The 3700x has been $399 multiple times so far and only seems like a decent deal due to the inflated cost of prices right now. The 9700k was also $349 a few weeks ago and I was able to get a 9700f for $300.

Oct 13 at Amazon was $396.99 for the 3800X, not 3700X. That reminds me, I need to take that out of the box...

I paid 259 for my 3600x last year, and i remember the 2700 being priced similarly, if not lower. I debated about it for a while...

I bought the 3700x within a month of release for $450. I'm glad to see it holding its value after almost a year and a half. It is a solid processor.

I missed out on the 3800x for 380ish sometime in October. I should have jumped on it when I had the chance but I thought it would go cheaper on Black Friday / Boxing Day because the new one came out. I should have trusted my gut. I'm still going to hold out hoping it'll go on sale again.

7 3600x? I'm waiting to upgrade from a dual core(yes..) intel(sigh) to a multicore ryzen, even old gen if the price is right (7 2700/x) is waaaay too expensive right now
