True for most people. I don't really need it since my NAS still has some space left before it will run out anytime soon and will probably buy it from Amazon if it goes on sale since some do these drives are shipped in horrible boxes and envelopes and returns are easier with Amazon in case of defects.

i got the WD40ezrz 4TB blue when it was on sale on world backup day for $79.99 but with RAID Z2 i only got like 6TB usable lolbarcathegreat wrote: ↑ True for most people. i'm at 74% capacity in my NAS but most of it is daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly snapshots, some of which overlaps... so i've been deleting the duplicate ones until a sale comes along which i guess this might be it.
Gonna have to get 4 more drives at some point since i'm awfully close to 80% full just waiting for the price is right and this one is borderline for me.
you're right the 128MB cache does make it a little sweeter.
