[Canada Computers] Acer 31.5" WQHD 2K Monitor - $279.99

Was looking for a 32" monitor for home office - email, Excel, internet browsing. Couldn't find anything at this size, QHD, under $300, so this one seems to be a good deal.

Acer EB321HQU 31.5" WQHD 2K LED LCD Monitor - 16:9
- In-plane Switching (IPS) Technology
- 2560 x 1440 - 300 cd/m² - 4 ms
- DVI - HDMI - DisplayPort

Not a bad deal, would have been better I think to be $20 more and 75 Hz, which is what I paid for mine.

60Hz
300 nits

I guess if you're buying a price instead of a monitor it's fine...

Not everyone is a gamer and needs higher refresh rates.

High refresh rate is not just for gaming. Same way I play 0 games on my Pixel 4 XL but will never buy a new phone without a 90+ hz display.

Higher refresh rate is not only for gaming. It's to actually enjoy using a screen and the content on it. It's simply sooooooo smooth. Once you go over 90Hz there's no going back.

My opinion of course

Heh... if you want that costco model grab it while there's still some stock kicking around. It's typically only available for one or two days before it disappears from the website... (I grabbed on for a virtual pinball playfield).

Upvote for the OP, but I'm in agreement that the LG is a better bargain.
Koodo 8GB UL T&T @ $45 (ported in from Public Mobile)
ASUS Zenfone 3 Zoom @ $299 / Certified Pre-Owned Huawei P20 @ $240 / Huawei P20 + Huawei Watch GT @ $240

It’s just so annoying that every single budget monitor thread has people whining about refresh rates and (often) resolution. Seriously, it seems many people won’t be happy until they can buy a 32” QHD or 4K IPS display with 144Hz for $200.

NOT EVERYONE NEEDS THOSE SPECS!!!!!!!

*sigh*
