I purchased it, but will be returning. It seems that 5700X on Amazon at $245 is a better deal especially when combined with SMB 25% off code (if you are lucky to get one). I need this mainly for gaming for kids and I suspect that discrete GPU will have to be added sooner than later to the build at which point 5600G loses its main advantage...

Anyone try to get the Uncharted Redemption code after buying the 5600G? I know this CPU doesnt qualify from AMDs list, but never hurts to try :)

EDIT: Just remembered that the CPU has to be installed for the AMDREWARDS verification tool to confirm you are eligible for the game so 5600G won't work when trying to redeem the Uncharted code even if you have the code.

My pfsense router started disconnecting from internet using AM4 200GE under heavy load. Switched to 5600G and dual Intel NIC and now running without issue for 7 days.

Why did your router start disconnecting?
Do logs answer that question?
Not enough computing power? The system should gracefully degrade, not fail. Besides, the 200GE has a lot of computing power.
Perhaps your cooling was inadequate. But then I imagine that the 5600G would make it even worse.

My guess is that you've hit a bug of some kind.

(Note: I've never run pfsense so this is all speculation.)
