Got a response I was "one order beyond what they had in stock". Means their stock system is trash cuz I ordered with over 10+ available.

went to pick up my 5600G in Laval and there was a 5700x on the self , looks like someone decide to cancel there order for in-store pick up so I bought it

IMO in 2022 the online stock should be real time. I get it if there were people buying up the stock when the store opened but stating I was "just beyond cutoff" sounds pretty BS to me. I ordered before the thread was posted.

Yeah maybe. Never liked CC to begin with and try to avoid them as much as possible already - guess I should've just continued doing so. I'd be less pissed if they simply cancelled with a reason "out-of-stock" without having to make the customer chase down the reason.

Noticed the stock level is the same after ordering. There is no way there are any left.

Picked up the 5700x! Store only had 2 in stock at 2am. Got the confirmation when they opened, great store. Great price. After this, it seems like they might be sold out and not come back in stock.

I had also ordered a 5800x at a different canada computers as a backup, they had 10+ in stock and I never received a response, cancelled it late in the afternoon. Shows how much variation there is between stores.

can some one recommended a cpu cooler for this , I won't be gaming just photo and video editing, and don't care much for lights

I was on planning on using my stock 2600 cooler but decide not to.

Normally when discounts as steep as this get posted, 95% of the time it gets canceled. T_T In this case, I guess it's based on "stock/forecasted inventory and sales" as alluded to by M1K3Z0R.

Here's a cheap 120mm tower cooler.

It's $30 with a $15 MIR. Total after rebate, tax and postage should be under $20.
