I have a 660ti. Worth it to go to 570 and sell the games for like $40?

EDIT: tf sort of retailer still charges for shipping?
I also bought it. Hopefully I can cancel if its a garbage deal

EDIT2: How do I even get these two games?

Their actual Anniversary sales were better than their weeklys.
Their weeklys were basically full of junk that they couldn't move plus a dozen or so things sprinkled in that were actually at least decent.

I think towards the end they had like 2000 items in the sale.
It's not a sale any more if your entire inventory is listed.
Do you not have anything else to do rather than argue with strangers on the internet
Nope. That's why I'm on the internet arguing with strangers. If I had anything better to do I'd probably be doing it.

I've been to CC twice. Customer service sucks since they used the old NCIX people. Won't let me even pricematch. Worst than BB.

I think majority of ppl (traditionally who builds their own comps) just want to walk in and out since they already know the parts they want before they walk in. So no point focusing on service.

It has always sucked, they are most soulless people ever. No emotions or enthusiasm, no hello, no thank you, no please or good bye. They just find what you need and you are on your way, not that there is anything wrong with that but damn its depressing going in there.

You should get a code either on the receipt or in the box that you redeem on their website for the actual game code. I remember doing these a year or so back for AC origins and never got my code. I had to call in and give them my product serial number to get the redemption code.

They are Asian based, 2 and 8 are very lucky numbers, especially 8. The number 8 means wealth to them or sounds like it.

This year is very special to them

You'll see a bit of a performance improvement; so I would say worth it for the money.
In order to sell the games, you will need to create an AMD Rewards account when you have the card installed. It will run a check and then you're good to go. You will need to get the uPlay account of someone you're selling the game to (like Division 2) and then link the AMD Rewards to that account so it is claimed. I purchased Division 2 like this from someone on here; totally works and worth it!

Time to start building a NAS

THe prices always made me rethink creating one, mainly those HD prices. Haven't spend that much on a HDD in years. I get why they are that price, it was just sticker shock.

First, I appreciate the post with the individual links - I know it is time consuming, and it saves me time.
Second, costumer service - I guess it varies from store to store. I go to the Burlington store and most of the time the costumer service (eg sales person, not store policy) has been very good.
At most bm computer stores I expect to interrupt a computer geek from his game, with the expected response, but the Burlington store was better than average.

I shop at the Burlington location about 2 or 3 times a year on average. Every time I go there, it's like 5 or 6 employees all sitting / standing around near the entrance talking to each other. Nobody seems to be doing any work. If you ask for help they will help you, but otherwise customers are basically ignored. The shelves are all messed up, products not where they are supposed to be. Hard to find what you're looking for. Sale prices never seem to be marked on the shelf properly either. Just a mess really.

And price matching at Canada Computers is a total joke. A few years ago I was buying a video card that they had for $279 regular price, and it was on sale at NCIX for $259. I asked CC to price match it, and they first checked to see NCIX had it in stock, then they told me that $259 is "below our cost" and the best that they could do was $266 or something. Not the first time they used the "below cost" line on me when trying to price match either. I think they must be trained to tell all customers that.

So you're saying, even when you end up checking out the computer part you want to buy, it doesn't bring you joy? Marie Kondo would not approve.
