[Canada Computers] EVGA B5 550W 80+ Bronze Fully Modular PSU $60

Better deal than the CoolerMaster from yesterday, if you are willing to deal with CC.
Fully modular, Tier B on the LTT PSU Tier List. Looks like an excellent PSU for entry & mid-tier builds.

ATL according to PCPartPicker and CCC.

Is this one of the better deals? Has it been surpassed on boxing day, and black Fridays before?

I assume you mean the ION+ Platinum. No you didn’t get scammed, that’s a better power supply than this one. Also, there are currently very few discounts at higher wattages due to demand.

For $10 more just get the 650 for peace of mind.

This is a good price from a reputable brand. They may not be the best PSU makers out there, but they are one of the best at warranties and whatnot.

That's a good price for a A-Tier platinum PSU.

Do you want it? It is sealed, and brand new in the box, with receipt and everything. Thinking of saving some cash, and just getting this psu.

should be, I have an i5-10400 Acer PC that has a 500W PSU and I use an RTX2070 with no power issues

Last time I checked PSU prices were way up there, so this is a pretty good break from that and a good deal.

To be clear eVGA don't make PSUs. This one is OEM'd by SuperFlower I believe.

Good observation. Looks like the 550 GA is the next best buy--gold rated and 2x the warranty for $20 more--can't find any info but I'm assuming it would be a SF build as well? Interestingly absent on the PSU scene...I don't see any rebates anymore. Seems they've toned those down a bit?
