What is a good price for this 1080ti now? People waiting for 500-600?

Since it’s no longer made, don’t count on there being much of any supply in the used market. Prices won’t drop much further.

From what I understand, the gtx 2080 beats slightly the 1080ti at about 5-10 fps in game and it's more recent and has rtx for someone who wants to try it when games with it will be available in a couple of months. So, personnaly, for the same price, I would choose the 2080.

Before RTX launched with disappointing performance / price you could have picked up a 1080 ti for around 850+tax

I guess it is good for right now but people are probably best waiting for nVidia to drop RTX prices which seems to be happening now they have released disappointing quarterly results due to low demand

Still not a good price. Overpriced old model stuff which NVIDIA is trying to shove off customers. No wonder their shares are tanking.

Their shares are tanking because people stopped with the bitcoin mining BS.

Hey guys, I am selling my Asus STRIX 1080 OC edition for a whopping price of $985.97 (The 7 at the indicates it is a clearance price. So get it before it's gone). This is a 100% hot deal.

I paid this for mine a year or so ago. Not good price. But honestly kidding yourself if you think RTX gaming will be a thing during 2080 lifecycle. There will be 3xxx before then. Card is already half year old and only one game released to support it.

I’m really not sure we can say that, I guess it depends when next cards come out and how much they can optimize the feature. Here is what we can expect for now. https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2019/0 ... ed-so-far/
