Edit: The information below is incorrect. Proof-of-stake is supposedly happening later than August 4th.

Ethereum is forking on August 4th to proof-of-stake. Mining with GPUs will be basically impossible at that point.

Yes but its not labelled because the 3070ti was already lhr from the start. Only the 3060ti, 3070, 3080 and 3090 will get the lhr labels. The 3060, 3070ti, 3080ti wont but they'll be neutered.

That's actually not too bad over MSRP (~25%) considering where the market has been the last year (75%-100%)

But, there's no way I'm spending $1K on a GPU in 2021 that only has 8GB of VRAM.

correct me if I’m wrong; London hard fork =/ proof of stake from what I know.
August 4th = London Hard fork
2022 = Proof of stake

This card has OC + RGB +better cooling. If you want MSRP try to get this one:https://www.evga.com/products/product.a ... P5-3783-KL

The fact that card is based on specific Nvidia reference design(chipset) doesn't directly translate into the AIB MSRP pricing...

As for your memory expectations, GDDR6 is very expensive and not all memory was create equal...

Ethereum is NOT forking to POS on August 4th

It is implementing EIP1559, which will reduce rewards by 10-15%. ETH remains POW for AT LEAST six more months, and IMHO closer to a year/ a year and a half.

Yeah a lot of evga shipped this week. I was in at Memory Express Ottawa yesterday and they had 10 x 3070ti and 6 x 3080ti on the shelf. Also a couple 3060.

Don't take it personally, people are just fed up with the GPU market. They probably get triggered when there is GPU talk.

Yeah, it's just not very inspiring to share links when the only thing that gets upvoted is Lenovo laptops and Kirkland jeans on sale.
