All-time low as far as i can tell
This case isn't for everyone, its for Function > Form and a silent build
good If you want to have a silent ATX mid tower that can hold a lot of 3.5inch HDDs this is a solid option

I personally have been using the R5 for years

Got an R6 usb-c last week with price beat at Memory Express from Canada Computers for $153.99.
I think it looks great, like that it had no TG on the sides, and that the front is hinged and swings open to get at the filter. Most other cases involve pulling off/unsnapping the front to access the filter. It also came with 3 140mm fans unlike the Meshify C which has 2 120's I believe. Thought about the Meshify but buying a couple more fans would have priced it at or above the R6.

Great case, great all time low prices on the R6.
If these were any of the side panel windowed models instead, I would have pull the trigger. So definitely jump on this if you don't care about seeing the inside of your case in action.

Here's a really high quality review from bit-tech.

I've had cases with windowed sides and it really doesn't add any value to me. Just weight. personally I'd rather have the side covered in the sound damping foam.

The cases are really well-built (as they should be for this price), so you won't find any sharp edges, non-square angles or or badly threaded holes/inserts.

Fractal or nothing for me. These cases are well designed and built. Sound dampening is also good. Good value as well. Highly recommended.

weird, CC was selling this for $91 after tax 2 years ago in clearance sale, but somehow R5 came back this year at a much higher price point.

This sure looks nice. Anybody have recommendation for a well built case that holds at least 8 3.5" HDD and at least 1 SSD?

Late to the party, but I love my r5 case as well! Best choice I ever made for a case.

I dug up my old ncix receipt and I got the windowed black R5 for $109.99 + tax back in 2016 around Black Friday. Memory and SSD were so expensive back then so never got around to start my build; and the case is in storage collecting dust lol
