Yes. I know this came out a while ago... but if you are in the market for a video card and don't want to spent over $800, this seems like a great deal for the performance.

RTX 2080's are around $900+ as of current

how is it hot? 2070 came down to 550 on ebay newegg 15% off and goes to close to 600 often and is a bit better.
2080 goes around 800 if you're patient.

Yeah, its a buyers market and the manufacturers know it. Give it a couple months of crypto staying the same and these will get even cheaper once AMD brings out their 7nm chips.

even rtx 2060 goes cheaper at 460 right now with a free anthem game or bfv (id wait for a better deal). considering both aren't 4k cards, probably more like 2k . you are paying 150 more plus taxes for something that will do the same thing.

While I wouldn't buy any of the RTX 2060's at that $460 ish price mark because of the coolers on them, even the most expensive ones with the beefier coolers are below $600. Definitely pass on this 1080, I have it and the cooler is just trash.

And it's still over $800 after tax. Read the initial post where I said "if you are in the market for a video card and don't want to spent over $800"

$599 after tax is still less than $700
