Not bad.

Ram not upgradeable but the price isn't terrible and it's Full HD.

Edit:
Bum WiFi
Heat Issues
In-Store Pickup Only (Scarborough)

They refer to the storage as ROM flash, likely meaning the storage can't be upgraded.

Really too bad.

75$!!!

ISmart always making my jaw drop with how low their prices get.

I'd use this as a remote desktop PC.

As long as the WiFi is strong you can stream movies and certain types of games pretty well.

Bum WiFi and non-upgradeable RAM is a bit of a problem.

You'll want to pop-in a Nano-WiFi USB device.

I'm reading the mega-thread on this machine and it's hit and miss.

Where's the guy always saying it's a poor man's XPS 13 lol. Pretty weak but good for a burner, should add YMMV though.

I have a similar model with 3G RAM (non upgradable); and I upgraded it with a M.2 SSD. It is not a super fast computer but it is good enough for me to keep in the trunk and not worry about it if I lost it.

I did not hvae the over heating problem with the Wi-fi (as a matter of fact, I was surprised it also has 5G wifi)

I have either the same or a similar model.

At $75, I'd only buy it if you really need one in the short term and cannot afford anything else.

I had numerous issues with mine right away. One of the screws from the body fell out on its own. Later, the battery stopped holding a charge. This was maybe 6 months into owning it. At the time I could have bought a replacement battery, but it wasn't worth it. Instead, I bought a refurbished ThinkPad as a replacement.

When I bought the iSmart, I think it might have been on the $150-$200 range. This might have been two years ago.

I bought it to take to the library to do light work on (web, word, excel, etc). In terms of the specs, it was more than capable at the time. The screen is also good for such a cheap machine. It is also very light and aesthetically looks very good.

One con was that the charger is very short.

At $75, I would be on the fence. If there is a strong on store warranty I'd consider that and try to figure out of the total cost is worth it.
I will tell my grandchildren about the deal I got on an HP Touchpad at the Bank street staples thanks to rfding.
