For years I installed Kingston memory into systems I put together but my recent experience with these thumbdrives has changed my view about Kingston products.

I've owned a 256 megs, 2 GB, and an 8 GB Kingston USB drive and all are super slow. It can easily take 8+ minutes to copy 7.5 GB worth of AVI's on the 8 GB stick. On top of that, my first one failed after very light use. Then I thought my replacement had died too as it would freeze while copying to it... I re-formatted it and now seems ok but I have no confidence it will survive very long.

The only thing I don't like about this Kingston USB drive is, it is very slow.

+1, it takes hours to transfer a 4G video.
