[Canada Computers] MSI - Optix G24C 24" VA Curved FHD Monitor 1920 x 1080, 144Hz, 1ms $249.99

This is a very good price for a monitor that has a response time of 1ms and refresh rate of 144 hz.

Lowest price I've seen was 210$ like 2 months ago.

Still a good deal.

Note that it is also FreeSync. But some people said that the range is only 90hz to 144hz.

But there is a way to change that. Don't know if it's still working but link here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Amd/comments/5 ... ecreasing/

Good find OP thanks.

Yes I do believe so because the Acer Predator didn't have any FreeSync/G-Sync support so even though it had 144hz refresh rate, you'd be dealing with a lot of tearing (based on what people were saying in that threat at the time).

How does this compare to the MSI Optix G27C2?

Just a heads up that this is a VA panel not a TN.

So you will get way better colour than your typical 144hz TN
Great for people who going from regular ips to 144hz monitor without losing that much colour quality.

Downside is, there seems to be report of ghosting in some cases.

As always, I own this monitor the 27 inch version. It is not 1ms, it is 4 ms gray to gray. FreeSync for this monitor only works beyond 90 fps. I have RX580 4G and only games I can benefit from are Dota2 and CSGO, I notice tearing very often when I am playing PUBG, because the fps jumps around from 70fps to 110 fps.

You can easily change the freesync range man. Here's a good guide: https://www.reddit.com/r/Amd/comments/5 ... ecreasing/
My friend has the G24C and he's using a much better range than the default.
