Any ssd would die. I had a MX300 Crucial SSD die on me after a week. Test it first? Use HD Tune? Use Crystal Disk Info? Use those tools? Hello? Seems like you enjoy crapping on people's deals with baseless assumptions.

Sure but I seen more bad reviews then good reviews on SSD's the only ssd's to die on me ages ago were both A-Data and Mushkin and some other strange one. But all the decent brand names no major issues.

I've only had Crucial and OCZ die on me. All my other ssds work from Kingston, Intel, the rest of my Crucial ones, Sandisk and Samsung. Besides you can RMA them. I never had a problem RMAing the Crucial SSD.. I received a brand new one. Also, I would not recommend ppl to store their data on a SSD because if it dies, it will be hell to recover worse than a mechanical hard drive. Always have backups of everything.

I've had my mushkin SSD for a little over 3 years now, still going strong.

I had a Kingston die on me quickly.
I have OCZs and PNY on our main computers since the start and trey are running without issues so far. My Gigastone is rarely used but is lasting longer than my Kingston.

I've had nothing but good luck with A-Data. Thanks OP, Mushkin are decent too.

Tape the recepit to the ssd itself.

I have a old Mushkin Reactor 1TB MLC SSD running as my main VM drive on a ESXi homelab. That thing is getting a beating on a daily basis for about 2years now, performance is still the same as day 1. +1 Mushkin Reactor series (MLC that is).

Some of those are for the regular TLC TRIACTOR.

This is the updated one with 3D TLC.

Why are there so many different Mushkin Triactor sizes? For example there is one that is 250G which is on sale but then there is a 256G one that is $32 more.

I've never bought at CC. Why is it showing 86 instead if 75 in my cart?

Been using a Mushkin Enhanced Reactor MLC 1 TB SSD in my iMac since 2016 as the primary drive and haven’t had any issues. iMac went from virtually unusable prior to SSD upgrade to being quite speedy once I installed the Mushkin.

a good power supply can easily last 10+ years. these cheap ssds will probably die within the first 5 years, at best. most likely 3.

Good price, but if you don't need a drive today it's worth noting that SSD prices are expected to fall significantly before the end of 2018.
