[Canada Computers] Powerocks S1 Electric Scooter $219

On Clearance from $299 to $219. Remember these scooters a year ago were around $499. Will give it a try and report back.

Price seems super cheap, pretty tempted.

A few things of note:

- did a token Google search and couldn't find any reviews online other than some demos and promo videos on Youtube, and Youtube vids are always suspect IMO.
- there's supposed to be an app, but it's no longer on the Play Store so you'd have to download it "unofficially" on APKPure, some people might not like that

So I'm kinda on the fence about this one.

Wow, for that price I'd be willing to pick one up except out of stock online. Oh well, probably for the best anyway. Better to have a push scooter and get my workout in.

Pretty impressive for the price. Charged it for an hour and took it for a spin. Nicely built, easy to ride and it goes pretty fast. The only drawback is the app does not exist for Apple so you cant really adjust couple of things like speed etc. by default it is set on the fastest speed. Couple photos attached

How is the ride quality on this? I hesitated and did research on other scooters and now the store closest to me is OOS, there was stock this afternoon ~_~

Its actually great due to 8inch Pneumatic tires. The charge lasted crazy long, had a ride with my 2 kids, wife tried it too. Overall its well worth the price. I met a guy who had Gravity Blade. He liked mine due to the large step area, its wide you can put both feet beside each other.
The guy at CC said I can return it after 14 days for a refund even if i try it so it was a no brainer for me.

Sounds good, thanks! Guess I'll try my luck at one of the open box ones in Scarborough.

Thanks. Got an open box one at Newmarket. Was crusing around last night and is pretty fun. I will try some long distance riding and see if I can make it to the train station. I've downloaded the app and there is a "power acceleration" feature and gives a warning message if used. Gonna test that out too.

Note I heard one case where the battery died when this individual didn't charge it for 6 months. Instruction says it needs to be charge fully every 2 months if left unused. So something to keep in mind.

Anyone else know where I’m stocked? I actually need it for work.

How does this compare to Xiaomi or Segway ES2?

I am sure they were sitting in the CC Store longer than that. I just wouldn't let it sit for a longer period of time completely empty.

Possibly a stupid question: is it fine to use those when it rains?
And how long would the battery last if one makes 50 kilometers a week with it?
