But it doesn't have RGB so we know it loses at least 37% in performance.

J/K, thanks for the good deal OP.

if you buy the first component, you will have eager to buy others and you can build your pc in next three months... (my experience:( )

100%.

I'm still rocking a sandy bridge and ddr3 memory because I get discouraged every time I see the price of ddr4 ram. About $600 for new ram and cpu and mobo makes it hard to justify, when most games do not benefit much from these types of upgrades

Great price, I upgraded a few months back on a $200 Amazon deal, nice that it's still dropping.

also you may want to do some test on the new component. It's a very bad experience when you figure out something is not working until you have everything ready after a few months.

Special order? Final Sale?

That doesn’t sound good. Canada Computers does not have stock. It is a special order from their supplier. Either this is going end of life or Kingston is dumping the product. In which case, prices are going to drop

Not really great advice for something that's marked final sale...

I bought the XPG Spectrix kit (3200 CAS 16-18-18) that was posted on RFD awhile back and that is now on sale for $123.99 at Newegg.ca but which was $139.99 when red posted it a month ago (can you believe that it was only a month ago!?) so it is almost the exact same price after tax as it was then.

Is this a MUCH better deal? Would the two be roughly the same speed? I doubt having 32 gigs of RAM would help me vs 16 gigs . . .the XPG is 200 Mhz faster but this one has 16-16-16 timings and it can be overclocked to 15-15-15 right? I wonder how much overclocking the XPG will allow? I haven't read a review on it for a bit so I can't recall.

Wow though, 32 gigs of RAM for 150 bucks plus tax!?

I frequently hit 20 - 22GB memory usage on my 32GB rig. It just depends on what you're doing.
