Hi All,

First time posting,I searched but did not see anyone post this so I am in the market for a large monitor for WFH and I came across this samsung 32" curved monitor that seems to be a decent deal.

Brightness: 250 cd/㎡

That is just unacceptable in anything but the most budget monitors at this point.

You using this monitor outdoors or something? how bright do you possibly need your monitor to be?

Use a 300+ (minimum really) monitor then go back to a 250. You'll notice the difference. To each their own, but really, there's no excuse for a monitor with this price tag having only 250 brightness.

No point to buy a curved monitor unless it’s ultra wide. I just bought the LG 34WL750 a few days ago from Canada Computers on sale for $569. It’s 1440p and ultra wide but flat. I chose flat because photo editing (avoid distorted imagine if curve). However, I found when you look at the ends, they seem far away. It’s a strange feeling as this is my first ultra wide. I almost regret not getting the curved version for a bit more.

And the lack of a VESA mount. Useless monitor.

Bought this from Costco.ca a few months ago with a coupon for $380 before taxes. Love it. Highly recommend a software called display fusion to help customize splits.

No, it's useless for being a dim monitor that you can't mount for $450. There are better options out there that I've seen over the years and that I know exist now, both cheaper and more expensive. On this current sale it's still not cheap enough.

Hi, I am looking for an Ultra-wide as well. Is your LG one 60Hz? I wonder if it can be over clocked?

60hz as I don’t play games on computer. If you play FPS games, look for other monitors with higher refresh rates.

My problem with this monitor is that you have to sit close enough to benefit from the curve and resolution but far enough away that you don’t have to turn your head to see the edges of the screen and mitigate VA colour shift. No USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 either.

To all the naysayers, what’s a better option now for 32” 4K? I’m specifically looking for a WFH solution.

People are goofs on here, 4k 60hz is the standard at this point in history...if you want 4k and in this price range you get 60hz. 144hz will cost you more than double, which is meaningless because your video card will cost that much to run it anyway.
