[Canada Computers] Samsung 860 EVO 2.5" SATA III 500GB $99.99

Samsung 860 EVO 2.5" SATA III 500GB Read: 550MB/s; Write: 520MB/s Solid State Drive (MZ-76E500B/AM)
on sale at Canada Computers for $99. Best Buy & amazon.ca has it for $99 as well now.
**price match & use coupon Ragas321 provided below to get it down to $89.99 at Staples. I added the item in the cart & started live chat to price match and apply the coupon.
***Staples brought their price down to $99.99 until 7/23/2020 11:59 PM. The coupon will still bring it down to $89.99, unless you've already used the coupon.

There has been sale on this for lower prices, but this price isn't too bad (amazon.ca had it for 79.99 Jan 2020, then $100 afterwards for Canada Version with warranty).
Regular price $145 at most places.

**This is SATA 2.5". If your computer supports nvme, get nvme ssd. These 2.5" SATA SSDs are to upgrade older computers.
(For example: WD Black SN750 500GB NVMe M.2 $110. https://www.canadacomputers.com/product ... _id=134010)

I really want this but at a lower price. When should I be looking for the 79 price range?

How do you get staples to price match online? I dont see an option unless I place the order a full price, then request the match after and receive a refund?
Thanks

Yeah no matter what you have to place an order and they'll refund the difference. Start a livechat first and they'll tell you to make the order

I still think about Fall 2019 when I decided not to buy a 1TB 860 EVO from Staples for $125 because "it'll probably be cheaper in 2020 when I'll actually need it".

Ragas321 provided a coupon code so you can get this at $89.99 from Staples.

Based on triple camel, $90 is a good enough deal.
I'm getting one from staples

At the end of the day, if you always have that kind of restraint, you'll probably win that one a lot more often than you won't.

Okay so here's my story.

I ordered on Staples.ca with live chat match but once I got everything verified and I was placing the order the code didnt work. My order wouldnt process.

Chat guy sent me to a phone guy and I gave them the code from our transcript. Everything worked but i asked if he could give me a larger discount because of my trouble and instead of 10 off I got 20 off!

Thanks OP and Regas321!

So this morning, I go to staples.ca and start placing my order, type in all the info, while requesting a price match. The agent takes about 3-4 minutes, comes back and states that the staples price is the same as amazon. asks me to verify by providing links from amazon, bestbuy and canadacomputers. I comply and he again states that the price at staples is the same (even though I have it in my cart at $144.99 not $99.99). So I go back and search staples again, thinking maybe they have two diff models of the samsung 860 evo, and one is $99 and the other $144. Nope, just in the 3-4min I was on with the agent, staples dropped their price to $99.99, so I went back and did the purchase process over, and used the $10 off coupon, and all is well (all in $94.49 - pickup this afternoon). I've been waiting for a decent deal on this for a while as I need an SSD for my dads old computer. Thanks

I saw one person who bought $900-$1000 worth of these or other Samsung SSDs at the RH location not too long ago.

About 6:40ish pm. You here?

that's nuts. This isn't even lava hot - its a good deal if you need a SSD, but not good enough to resell for profit on kijiji.

There are perfectly legitimate reasons why a person may buy 9 or 10 SSDs at once that don't involve reselling on Kijiji.
