yup not to mention this is the newer model with 256MB cache. I keep track hdd pricing. So far it is the lower pricing in term of per GB for NAS drive. But since you have to buy it pair. I don't see that I will buy it unless I'm running out of space.

how loud is this drive? how loud is the background media scan? and how much vibration? I got a bunch of 6TB reds because my HGST 8TBs were just too loud and vibrate worse than a female stimulator

Not sure I only have the older model. But it don't think it will loud. HGST drive tend to be loud.

How would these compare to the Toshiba X300, which is 7200RPM but 128MB cache? At least the 8GB versions are effectively the same price on Amazon.
