Are people buying these for display or are these actually collectible (ie. demand in resale market)? They're really expensive if you're looking at just the value of the metal.

So are many paintings around the world. If you're just looking at the 'value', a piece of paper cost what? 10 cents?

He asked a question... He didnt need your explanation of why raw material is less expensive than material with time/work on it

I actually collect coins and have never bought any of the Mint's "collectible" coins. Overpriced junk, IMO. Many people must be buying it though, because the Mint just keeps pumping out more and more all the time.
18% = GTA residents as a proportion of Canada's total population
97% = chance that an RFDer lives in the GTA when he posts something location specific, without giving a location

Were you hit with surprise customs/import fees on an Amazon.ca purchase?

I noticed they had a subsection for the 15%, but even if it is for 2017 only, there should be quite a bit more than that, I would think - I'm thinking this is just a separate sale that is also 15% off. I don't recall seeing 2017 only on the flyer I got. Given that it starts tomorrow, I doubt they've activated the discounts yet, but I could be wrong.
