Canada Post COD Question...

Hey guys

I recently sold a keyboard to someone through COD in BC. My question is that the listing price was for $100, but I didn't state that anywhere on the box or the order that they send out. He said he will pay $100 for the keyboard, plus $35 for the shipping. How does Canada Post know they need to collect $135? I'm freaking out any help would be great.

You need to fill in a COD form at the post office and pay a COD fee of $7.25 plus shipping fees for the COD service.

If you did not fill the COD form and pay the COD fee, then there is no COD and Canada Post will not collect.

Heh...I think you were assuming that Canada Post would magically collect money that the guy owed. Moving forward, COD isn't just "you send it now and I'll pay you after I receive it...". It's telling CP at the time of mailing that they have to collect it, so they actually know.
