Canada Post (small bus) and random mystery $$$

Not sure if this is the right area to post..

Anyone getting random mystery charges by Canada Post??
I'm signed up on a small bus account.
After paying and shipping say a $10 package, I'll see small amounts being charged onto my card a couple days later, 48 cents, etc.

I called amex personal platinum, they said they've seen this issue before and will dispute on my behalf.

I called Canada Post and was surprised to learn that they keep zero records of my 'small business' receipts - he essentially gave me the green light to dispute the charges. He said, if the amount isn't the same as whats on the receipt that was emailed, then any extra or other charges you see are in error and can only be refunded by your credit card***edited

Strange....

It happened to me the other day. 90 cents and 87 cents charged through PayPal, I used PayPal shipping. They said my measurements or weights were wrong, or I dropped it off at a post office further away then the originating label was printed. Bullsh*t

No sure if this is the same thing you encountered, minus PayPal of course.

you underpaid, the box goes through a cubiscan, and you got charged. eg if the box isn't square, you get charged at the highest point. So you might have measured correctly, and still been charged the extra that was owed
If you aren't willing to take small losses, then you will take big losses. This is my guarantee. -

Confirmed with Canada Post that it can and should be disputed if they have not issued you a receipt.....if you have spare time to do so ofcourse.
