Make sure the car brands you care about are actually in the show this year. Lots have pulled out of major auto shows. No Honda, Ford, Volkswagen, Mercedes etc....

Toronto show was garbage at best pre pandemic, now it's even worse.

Wow really not much manufacturers displaying this year.
I like going once in a while(on a weekday) and the last time I went was 2019 but this is making me reconsider going.

I've gone to the Montreal Auto Show, and it was a mild letdown compared to pre-pandemic. The number of cars on display reduced so much from previous editions, they were able to fit it all under one exhibit hall. It was also very crowded for the space that getting the chance to get into a car was so minimal; not even 30 seconds in, and the next family will be eyeing you right outside the vehicle the second you step out of it.

I'd save the money by simply driving to the few dealerships I'm interested in and seeing what they have in their personal showrooms.

Threads don't get locked just because they are expired, it would have been locked and moved for a reason.

I just never understand why I should pay and buy ticket to see the cars. Would you be buying tickets to see what McDonald’s is offering for their new breakfast? As consumers, the manufacturers should really be paying us to see their cars.

I already have tickets purchased (because I like to take my family) but that's a REALLY weak line-up. I won't be returning if this is what they are going to offer.

Well this is new ...

All-new at the 2023 Canadian International AutoShow you will have the opportunity to test drive a wide selection of exciting new EVs right on the show floor! The 70,000 sq ft EV Test Track feature area offers over a dozen vehicles for you to take on a test drive!

I guess with all those manufacturers not there, this will be the new attraction. Test drive! (Yes, aware that test drives have been there before)

Thanks for the link/heads up. I was wanting to go but the lack of exhibitors makes it not worthwhile. The whole point is to see everything in one place, unless your curious about concept cars or technology they may never build or use.

Lol don't go?

As a gearhead I love going regardless of what manufacturers are attending. Hyundai's N concept cars will be there which will be cool to see in person. They'll have test tracks open if that's your thing. Many exhibits will be there for aftermarket support showing new and interesting products. Hotwheels will be there and Lego has a life-size lamborghini built of Lego. Imo it's a fun event to attend each year. I always see awesome things and can easily make a full day of it.

This year's show is useless.

Not worth the cost.
