Which Canadian city could host the Winter Olympics?

Other than previous hosts (Calgary and Vancouver) which Canadian cities would make a great future winter Olympic host?

Quebec City? Blue Mountain/Toronto? Halifax? Hamilton?

Winter Olympics host options limited by warming planet, research says

In Canada, Calgary and Edmonton are realistically the last ones standing as cold enough options for future Winter Olympics. Calgary is working on a bid for the 2026 Games now.

LoL ...the world has changed and most people don't even notice it ! Never before would you ever see the basis European lead IOC ever grant the Olympic games consecutively twice to a single continent, yet the current Winter Olympic and the next two will be held in Asia as well ! Western media will put on their their silly spin that western nations don't want it, the truth of the matter is that they can't afford it like the trailer trash that they are while it is chump change for Asian nations !

Joint hosting by Quebec and Vermont could be a nice option.

Due to geographic limitations, Ontario wont cut it for ski competitions that require decent elevations/drops.
Quebec City would be a very good choice.

Safe to say Ontario won't ever host the winter olympics. The only decent elevation drop in Ontario for skiing is Blue Mountain, and by "decent", it's a TINY fraction of any small resort in BC. Once you've skied Revelstoke, glacier national park, and Lake Louise, nothing east of the Rockies are comparable or even remotely worth skiing.

Whitehorse. Maybe joint bid with Juneau although a Canada/US joint bid would be weird.

LoL ...that article is just stating the obvious and trying to make it sound like it's an excuse ! It is quite funny that no Asian sits in the top positions at the IOC and all you ever see is white European men, even white North American men like Canadian Dick Pound who single handily saved the IOC from bankruptcy wasn't even good enough for them !

Quebec is the right venue if Canada ever bids for a winter Olympic game. The vast majority of Canada's gold medals in the Winter games were from Quebecers from skating, skiing to snowboarding !

The issue with Quebec is finding a ski hill with enough vertical for the alpine events. Neither Tremblant or Le Massif are good enough apparently.
Perhaps if they can get Vermont involved in a joint bid...

Waste of money anyhow. Invest in proper infrastructure and don't wait for 'special' events as an excuse. "Additionally, cities tend to find that most of the stadiums, fields, courts, and other facilities that they built for the games are simply useless after the Olympics are over. Their enormous size makes them difficult for athletes to use and for fans to fill up. "

See excuses, excuses ...its not a waste of money if you have too much money, it only adds to the wealth of the host city. So where is the new infrastructure that these cities wanted the Olympics, but choose not to like Toronto ? ...LoL
It's westerner's inferiority complex at play here !
