I don't know if you'd truly call this "free" as it does require someone coming to your house and trying to sell you a water filtration system..... but if you don't buy the system the Google Home mini is still free.

They got a guy to come to my house, he gave me a lot of information, was not pushy and I decided not to buy in the end because of the crazy cost (imo) but I did get a bit of an education which wasn't a waste for me... plus the speaker... Win/Win for me!! Hopefully for you too

Side note: I found these guys as well:

I have not gone through the process, I think I read somewhere that you might need a subscription to get the free speaker on that one

But happy hunting!!

You're funny eh? :D

I know how to use google ... I simply asked ... maybe someone knew.

Google has it for 50 bucks i think .. maybe 70?

Various prices ...

So wait .. AHAHAHA ... you went through the trouble of making this Video / GIF or whatever it is ...

But couldn't just google it already and provide the answer? :D

Good one though ... Gonna upvote it .. for your effort )))

29 bucks or less most sales and have been many last few months since black friday and boxing day and staples sales and best buy sales :) time only worth a home max or some good device :) did the simply smart home last year and got free mini as they tried to sell maintenance plans for furnace/water heater as we had relatively new furnace and ac and water heater so they didn't try to sell us new ones of those so just said no to all and they installed mini and left so it depends if you have over an hour to spend with them

Although the above noted web page mentions that it is "SSL Secure Connection" with a logo and all that, my Opera browser says otherwise.

It doesn't automatically redirect you to the https version but it works. Just change OPs link to https and its secure.

First Generation but its free

They do test your water and show you that you have some minerals in them..... as you should because distilled water isn't good for you either. They commonly over state how bad the problem is. For reference:

That is a better indication of same water. Filtered water is better but the pricing of these systems are laughable imho.

Burnt an hour for a speaker and a water test to confirm what I first thought, my water isn't perfect but its not going to be killing me anytime soon lol

Huh? I signed up already ….. :)

If so, though, then maybe you should add in thread name something like [Alberta Only] … or [Edmonton Only] … so others don't waste their time on this.
