Canadian Security Clearance

Can one get a security or reliability clearance if they have:
a) received a conditional discharge (20 years ago); charge was uttering threats
b) late payments for student loans
c) not lived in Canada continuously for ten years, but in the US
d) security clearance from the US

One indictable conviction or two summary convictions i the general cutoff.
Conditional discharges fall off your record after three years. Apparently.
Does not hurt to apply.

If I recall correctly you must have 5 years continuous residence in Canada for Enhanced Reliability and 10 years continuous residence in Canada for Secret.
